Rector, Permanent, and Honorary Fellows

The Rector of Collegium Budapest has since 1 November 2008 been Andrew Sors. Altogether three Permanent Fellows support him: Gábor Klaniczay, Professor of Medieval History at the Central European University and Eötvös Loránd University Budapest, Imre Kondor, Professor of Physics at Eötvös Loránd University Budapest and Eörs Szathmáry, Professor of Biology at Eötvös Loránd University, Budapest. János Kornai, Professor emeritus of Economics at Harvard University and a member of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences is Permanent Fellow emeritus at the Collegium. The Collegium has one Honorary Fellow, Lajos Vékás, Professor of Jurisprudence at Eötvös Loránd University, the first Rector of Collegium Budapest.
