Mira Marody is a professor of social psychology in the Institute
of Sociology at the University of Warsaw.
Her areas of interest include theory of social behavior, theory
of social representations, sociology of commonsense knowledge,
socio-linguistics, political-values studies, methodology of science.
Since 1996 she is a member of an interdisciplinary team working on a
EU-monitoring project whose aim is to assess the capacity of Poland for
European integration.
Her present research involvements are: 1) project on changes in the
forms of social ties being established in the areas of politics, work, and
family 2) the case study of social dialogue between some occupational groups
and the state
