1959-1964 Faculty of Architecture, Budapest Technical University, diploma of architect 1964. 1971-1972 postgradual studies at the Faculty of Arts, Eötvös Loránd University of Budapest (Coptology).

 

Career

- 1964-1981 research fellow, 1981-1991 senior research fellow, 1981-1994 head of the Dept. of Roman Archaeology, 1991-2004 Member of the Advisory Board, 2004– Research Professor, Archaeological Institute of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, Budapest.
