Core
Fellowships
Each year Collegium Budapest offers a limited number of "Core Fellowships",
providing scholars of high international reputation not only with accommodation
but also with a stipend covering all costs related to their stay in Budapest.
This type of fellowship will only be offered to a candidate if she/he
fails to raise other sources for funding his/her stay at the Collegium.
In the application form we ask candidates whether they apply for one
of the few core fellowships or residential
scholarship.
Fellowships are awarded for a minimum of three months.
The Academic Advisory Board evaluates candidates' application materials
at its meeting usually held in January each year.
Following the advice of the Board and depending on the number of available
fellowships,
the
Rector
will invite selected scholars.
The core fellowship follows standard rules and consists of the following:
· a stipend package including travel and transportation costs, and
· accommodation.
Collegium Budapest is aware that the paid stipend package may not reach
the "no gain - no loss" principle: The stipend will be paid
on a monthly basis. No other reimbursement is foreseen. Anticipatory
stipends for academic year 2010/11 are as follows:
