How
to Approach Collegium Budapest by Public Transportation
- Travel
from and to the Airport
We recommend
that you use the Airport Minibus. They have an office at the arrival
gate and speak English. You only have to give them the address of
the place and they will take you there. They offer a fixed rate
of
3,900 HUF for a roundtrip, 2,300 HUF for a single ticket. The return
service to the airport has to be ordered 24 hours before departure
at (+36-1) 296 8555, a phone number.

to Collegium Budapest:
From Keleti train station: Take the red (No.2) subway to 'Moszkva
ter'.
From Nyugati train station: Take tram no.6 or no.4, or the red(No.2)
subway to 'Moszkva ter'.
From Deli train station: Take tram No.18 or the red (No.2) subway
to 'Moszkva ter' (one stop)
For all: A Castle Minibus runs between 'Moszkva ter' and 'Disz
ter' through 'Szentharomsag ter', the stop where you have to
get off for Collegium Budapest.

to the Raoul Wallenberg Guesthouse you can take the bus no.16
at Deak ter (crossing point of subway lines, see below).
You
have to get off at the second stop after the bridge,
and walk on, and before the barrier go right to Szabo Ilonka
utca.
- Other
transport
Bus no.16 operates between Deak ter (centre of town, crossing point
of subway lines) and Disz ter in the castle. From Dísz tér Collegium
Budapest is only one stop away driving with the castle bus, or you
walk 5 minutes. (This route is not recommended during peak hours,
because
bus no.16 often gets stuck on Chainbridge)
The Funicular Railway runs up from the Buda end of the Chain Bridge
to a boot on Castle Hill located between the National Gallery and the
President's Office. Tickets are sold at the kiosk. The old town, where
Collegium Budapest is located is located to your right (10 minutes walk).
